Even when it was on the ropes some years ago and on the brink of defeat, somehow, some way, professional boxing rose again and once more, will be champion again (of all sports for us).
Professional boxing like life is a funny old game and it is not until you get older that you realize all along, that boxing had the power all along.
The power to get back up the ladder and inevitably, the pinnacle and top of the professional sporting world once more.
Boxing is undefeatable as a sport, unbreakable, unshakeable, an ironclad overall sport at its core traditional values which cannot be intimidated or influenced, all the naysayers some years ago were saying: ‘Boxing is dead’.
Boxing, Just When You Think It’s Gone It Pulls You Back In
Do you remember them?
There was many as early as the 90s and then into the 00s but look at where professional boxing is now.
The brand is stronger than ever for the sport, the best since the 80s, the best fighters are fighting one another more regularly again than ever.
There is more to do on that but the likes of Paramount, DAZN, BBC, Sky, ESPN and many other huge corporations continue to show or come back to professional boxing in some shape or form as 2026 begins, boxing is in a better place than ever.
It will only continue to do better and better as a sport as well, the big fights are only ahead.
Boxing will once again return to its spot at the very pinnacle of all worldwide international sport again.
Champion again.
For those who love boxing it must be like some sort of a drug.
Once you are hooked it is hard to get off, the only way would be a clean cutting of ties and moving on almost completely from boxing.
There is a famous saying ‘No boxing no life’ and for those that love professional boxing there is much truth to it.
Mike Tyson said it recently himself, you can’t keep a good thing down.
Boxing is on its way back to the pinnacle of all professional sport and this must be driven by the best fighters fighting the other best fighters in 2026.
Maybe we will even see Gervonta Davis back shortly.
Stay tuned.
