It was a big year for some new and emerging promoters this year in the sport of boxing at the highest level, without a doubt.
Obviously Jake Paul of MVP Promotions will have won most people’s promoter of the year this year with the sheer amount of events he and his company put on across the US and internationally.
KSI of Misfits Promotions in the UK did outstanding things again in boxing but in the UK, Europe and even in Dubai recently.
Even putting on a big fight in Dubai that effectively saw the end of Andrew Tate’s professional boxing career before it even got started.
KSI and Paul brought in a huge amount of new young fans with their shows to boxing for the first time all over the world.
In the East and West.
2025 Boxing News and Views Promoter Of The Year Award
Hall of Famer Frank Warren had another big year this year as well.
Dana White had his first event as a boxing promoter go off almost perfectly with Terence Crawford’s super fight win over Canelo in Vegas live in Netflix.
But for us the award goes to Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn.
He guided the likes of Dmitry Bivol, Bam Rodriguez and many others to great success this year.
2024 wasn’t his best year but 2025 was a mini sort of comeback for Hearn after a 5-0 drubbing not long ago on a 5 v 5 show with Matchroom vs Queensberry.
Eddie Hearn for sheer amount of quality events promoted across the world, the success of pound for pound fighters he promotes, gets the award for us but it was close.
Well done Hearn. Well deserved.
