Let'S Make Boxing In China Great Again

Boxing is being made great again but the possibilities in China are endless for the sport of boxing in 2026 and beyond.

Boxing continues to come back to prominence to the masses for a plethora of combined sporting, commercial and demographic reasons and changes in the market internationally in 2025, next year and beyond.

All powered by great fights that fans want to see of course.

Without that, there would be nothing, but there is, so there is everything now and much more soon.

China is the world’s biggest country for population and a hugely technologically advanced part of the world so naturally, it is only right for boxing to go there next with big fights, big events and big hype.

Let’s Make Boxing In China Great Again

We have spoken about this recently on here at length but more needs to be delved into China as the sheer size of the country and terrain is bigger than anything on Earth, much bigger than any country for population that is.

There has been events in the past in China with some relatively well known fighters from China but they were not huge hit fights or events, or did not really involve massive star name boxers from the West.

If you look at China over the last twenty years in some ways they have brought more Western values to their country, in other ways they have not.

But places like Macau now in China have been built up to be big new casino destinations in China to be somewhat like the Las Vegas of China — and they’ve had a bit of success with that too with whales and high rollers in the last number of years.

The proof is in the decline of casinos in Las Vegas in recent years — the opportunity for big high rollers and big whales at casinos is more and more in China and boxing can tap into this more when doing big events involving big name boxers.

Working in coordination more with the Chinese government to ensure proper promotion on mainland China as well honoring the traditions and regulations of the Chinese government and authorities, in conjunction with making the events a big hit with star names from the East and West, it will of course work hugely well.

The key here is the success of the casinos in China and the decline of Las Vegas casinos for the first time ever in the history of Vegas and casinos, ever, that’s a big thing as well by the way.

America doesn’t like that fact but it is a fact.

So, if you bring more of the casino sponsors into it from China as well, think of the possibilities for big fights and big boxing events instead of using big casinos in Las Vegas — using the big casinos in China instead.

It is almost like flipping the Vegas model directly into China for big time professional and world championship boxing.

Boom.

Moreover, parts of the Japanese boxing model can also be applied for China as well.
