In more good news for the IBA (International Boxing Association) two of the sport’s premier fighters have attended another event.
Further to Manny Pacquiao officially becoming the Vice President of the IBA recently, big names continue to go to and support their events.
Way more than you see going to anything to do with World Boxing (who govern amateur boxing at the next Olympics).
Terence Crawford And Artur Beterbiev Meet At IBA Event
All the big time boxers and world champions in professional boxing are at the IBA events and this from Artur Beterbiev and Terence Crawford speaks to that:
Good to see to knockout ambassadors and active fighters and champions in the sport there.
The likes of Lennox Lewis and many other Hall of Famers support all the amateur boxing programs the IBA have been doing recently and that makes them essentially the most powerful organization in world amateur boxing.
Despite World Boxing for now (lead by Gennady Golovkin) in charge of boxing at the next Olympics.
Even big governments and big name actors are working with the IBA now — you never see anything like that with World Boxing.
If the IBA and World Boxing can work together more amateur boxing will be in a much better place.
