December 19th is now set and the fight is ten days away for the big Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua event in Florida.
It is a legit professional heavyweight boxing fight as well and goes out across the world on Netflix on the night — the world’s biggest streaming company.
It will also have a lot of help being promoted all over the world and from other companies and players and is shaping up to do insane numbers of sign ups for Netflix and viewers of the fight and of boxing and in general this month.
That is not a bad thing for boxing and the fact so much attention will be on boxing only gets more eyeballs and new fans, younger ones too, to the sport.
Jake Paul is an underdog in the fight but there is something important to note on round one when the thing kicks off right there and then. At some point Joshua should land something on Paul, be it a jab or a glancing blow at least, if not fully connecting on him.
Of course, Paul will look to keep away from all of his power punches and not let any connect at all.
Something That Might Fluster Anthony Joshua Early On Against Jake Paul
But if Joshua does land in round one and it doesn’t knock Paul down, knock him out, or even hurt him, that will be a big advantage for Paul mentally over Joshua.
Joshua must be thinking if he lands anything that is it for Paul but what if he hits him and he doesn’t stay hit and doesn’t fall over, or show any signs of being hurt?
Then fires back and lands on Joshua and gets out or range.
That could make things interesting early on.
Joshua appears to be taking things serious for Paul but let us see soon — time will tell.
