The Resilience Of The Three High Level Uk Boxing Promoters

Boxing in the UK continues to put on incredible events, amazing sell out stadiums, despite a current dip in number of UK pro boxing world champions.

That doesn’t seem to deter either the boxers, the fans of boxing in the UK or the event organizers either.

Sky Sports are still in boxing doing great things and years ago when the sport in the UK and Europe, outside of RTL and some others, became essentially just a PPV sport for some years in the UK and Europe, Sky did a heck of a job.

But there are new players like DAZN now and the biggest network in the UK and Europe, the BBC will soon return to professional boxing in game changing news.

If the latter goes successful the model for free to air online/TV (mostly online though) boxing can be rolled out all over Europe again if the rights fees can be demanded again — they should be soon.

Because the worldwide professional boxing product is set to come into a very special time soon because of a plethora or new, bigger, more commercial and large corporation organizations in the West and East, and more official State governments, coming to boxing.

The UK boxing promoters of Hall of Famer Frank Warren, Eddie Hearn and Ben Shalom cannot be forgotten in all this.

They have all worked tirelessly with their teams behind the scenes to keep the show on the road over the years and keep boxing growing a bit, somewhat, until the really good stuff comes to the sport again soon.

Where a combined reach of companies, platforms and the East and West combined, will see all together boxing shown to the masses once again like the old days.

All built on making the best fights possible for fans.
