Something Fans Forget That Makes Pacquiao'S Barrios Fight At 46 Even More Legendary

Manny Pacquiao is a living Hall of Famer active professional boxer and eight weight champion in boxing but his story goes a long way more than that.

Earlier this year at the age of 46 Pacquiao against all conventional wisdom and logic when no one thought he could, stepped back in the ring for a genuine, legit professional boxing world title against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.

The fight was scored a draw but most thought Pacquiao won, so much so Pacquiao will be in a big fight again shortly in the new year.

If not a title fight a big rematch with one Floyd Mayweather quite possibly at some point.

But people forget some years ago Pacquiao suffered one of the most devastating knockout defeats to Juan Manuel Marquez via a counter overhand right from the Mexican Marquez.

Those type of knockouts frequently end careers or at least fighters are never usually the same after them.

Neither of the above is true for Pacquiao who actually is still competing just as normal at the highest level of world championship boxing at the soon age of 47 later this month in December 2025.

Manny Pacquiao is super human.

He knows though if he’s to go in there with one more genuine world title fight before his career is over, he has to give boxing his full time attention as much as possible between training, repair and his promotional company of course, M.P. Promotions.

Alas, in well deserved news, Pacquiao was also made fighter of the century recently by the WBC.
