Soon Ryan Garcia will challenge for the WBC welterweight world championship against Mario Barrios this coming February.
The bout is expected to take place on February 21st.

His heated rival and current WBO welterweight champion of the world Devin Haney is actually rooting for Garcia to win.
Devin Haney’s Surprise Reaction To Ryan Garcia vs Mario Barrios
Speaking to Ring Magazine Haney said of the Ryan Garcia fight:
“That Ryan fight is huge. I’m rooting for him against Barrios because I want that rematch rematch and I want that redemption. It’s a massive fight for boxing and it’s definitely going to happen.”
The rematch between Haney and Garcia maybe is one of the biggest fights in America that can be made in the US.
That and Shakur Stevenson vs Gervonta Davis and Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach as well.
Haney recently won the WBO title by beating Brian Norman Jr on points in an impressive win that saw him drop Norman.
Don’t forget Brian Norman in the mix as well, as well as Manny Pacquiao, Conor Benn and many others.
Welterweight is on fire as a division at the moment.
