There is changing times happening for boxing now as an industry and there is some further dead wood that needs to be cut down in the time ahead.

In the near present to now no less.

Some of that involved now irrelevant ways of thinking and matchmaking fighters in professional boxing.

It didn’t happen often but previously it happened on rare occasion were some shady managers or boxing advisers were able to manipulated rankings or situations
to get their fighters easy fights to build their records and fight for titles they had no business in fighting for in terms of meriting or deserving them.

How Some Fighters Win Titles Without Ever Beating a Single Elite Opponent

On even rare occasions winning a title then as soon as they fought a legit world champion getting knocked out or comprehensively out pointed.

This can’t happen anymore and thankfully it hasn’t really happened much in the last or two actually.

Due to the new players, corporations and governments around the world coming to boxing not tolerating that poor matchmaking, lazy thinking and shady practices that benefit neither the fighter, the sport or the fans.

Just allowing some shady managers and advisers to collect more per centages out of fighter purses than they should have.

Basically.

Game over for them now though.

Boxing as a sport will never tolerate that, nor will the commercial corporations, international sponsors and governments new to the sport and investing in it in the near future.
