The Truth About Fighters Who “Never Fight Anyone”

Sometimes boxers get too much criticism for avoiding fights or ‘ducking’ opponents and while this can happen on rare occasion, this is not the whole accuracy of the situation as well it must be noted.

Sometimes what you don’t know is their shady managers and advisers behind the scenes get in their ear and tell them all sorts of rubbish to not take an opponent, even though the fighter may want to take on a more difficult challenge in the ring.

And get to a world title shot much quicker than some stupid advisers and managers might think they should.

Whom may still be stuck in the old now dead thankfully mentality of protecting a fighter’s ‘O’ and undefeated record.

The Truth About Fighters Who “Never Fight Anyone”

Now, that is not as important as much anymore and prospects regularly box on another all the time and compete in challenging fights early on.

A fighter can have a defeat now and come back quick into meaningful and sometimes even big fights.

Look at Ryan Garcia in the US.

America’s biggest boxing star for following out of any active US fighter lost earlier this year to Rolly Romero in a world title fight.

He’s landed on his feet next and will fight for the WBC welterweight title against Mario Barrios straight away in February coming.

All in all, there’s also the likes of Manny Pacquiao who has always taken on all comers and fought everyone in boxing.

He’s fought and beat the best — that’s why he’s in the Hall of Fame.
