As Japan plays a key part in boxing’s expansion into the East it is only a matter of time before a big boxing event happens in the second most powerful country on Earth of course.
That’s China.
Obviously there will be people in Japan, the East and so on in terms of events holders who work with the new TKO Boxing group who will look at outing on big fights in China.
Some events have happened already but it is important that the discretion of the Chinese state and Chinese government is respected by those looking to bring big events to China.
The Chinese are very private people and we truly believe soon, it will become clear as time goes on that there was far more advanced things than just their military they were working on all the time.
In tech, of course China has other things like Deepseek that are far more advanced than Deepseek and Chatbot Gpt combined — they just don’t tell people about it — why should they?
They are smart, that’s why. Nor will they ever either. Loose lips sinks ships. Silence is golden.
So when boxing as a sport does well in the time ahead this mentality when bringing big name boxers and big events to big cities and destinations in China happens, this must be remembered.
Of course America and China are competitors but they have a more healthy relationship now in this aspect and the countries finally aare one again on friendly relations near the end of 2025, thanks to Donald Trump and others.
This happened recently where the US and China are on a more stable footing then they had been in decades but this still doesn’t mean they need to share intellectual IP, inventions or commercially sensitive projects with one another as long as they do not harm the other country in anyway.
Alas, look, professional boxing won’t have to worry about any of that stuff, just to be aware of the different customs and traditions in different places, and so forth, very simple.
Something To Remember Ahead Of Boxing’s Soon Big Splash In China
Ties between America and Russia will be more stable again shortly, just like Trump got China and America back on friendly normal relations, he will do the same for America and Russia again shortly too.
Of course, big boxing events in Russia, India and across Asia and the East must be looked at by all organizations and players in boxing moving forward to — working with the authorities and people in those places as well.
The end result will see a lot more quality fights in the East, more new fans, including many new fans from these places who speak English as well?

As well, obviously Singapore is a very prosperous place but big boxing has never really being there before, it would be up to the appropriate people in boxing to speak to the appropriate people in Singapore.
Russia, China, Japan, Africa and many places are no brainers and are easy for boxing to go for many reasons but the likes of Singapore and more places boxing has never been in the middle East require planning and research which doesn’t take long anyway, a matter of weeks to roll out events in new territories.
The turnaround time to market big events is only a month or so now anyway due to the connected world we live in and the appropriate existing and new distribution systems that can be tapped into as part of the full marketing mix of product, place, promotion and price pursuant and relevant to the markets in these different countries — which will differ from nation to nation and slightly region to region within them too (Paris is a lot more expensive than some parts of France for instance).
