Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez did excellently at the weekend just gone in a big knockout victory over Martinez that put him back in most people’s pound for pound list.
In the top ten of it, that is.
He showed skill, power and precision and chose his moments well to close the show.
As boxing expands as a sport more and more into the East as the days and weeks go on, surely one fight in the East works well for him at some point.
A Big Fight In The East That Maybe On Bam Rodriguez’ Horizon Soon
Or maybe even two of them. Bouts against either Naoya Inoue of Japan or Junto Nakatani of Japan.
Both are in action next month and if they both win, they should fight one another early enough into 2026 but the winner of that fighting Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez would be huge for the sport.
Huge for boxing fans.
Huge for the East and boxing’s continued rapid expansion into new markets.
