Conor Benn is flying high at the moment after a huge victory at the weekend just gone in a rematch against his rival Chris Eubank Jr in an amazing victory.
He won the fight by UD in what was by far his biggest win so far as a professional fighter.
He lost the first fight earlier this year but really set the record right at the weekend.
The world is absolutely his oyster now and then some, because his fan base from both fights has gone through the roof frankly.
The first bout did huge numbers commercially not just in the UK or Europe, but in the US and worldwide in the East as well.
Due to the compelling nature of the fight and the father of Eubank turning up at the last minute, but the rematch at the weekend was another big sell out with over 67,000 fans in attendance.
Why The World Is Conor Benn’s Oyster
A huge success and a fight that showed he is an elite level fighter and without doubt, is a world title contender at this point.
He has improved a lot in recent years and going back to welterweight or super welterweight, he should really be in the mix for a world title fight soon.
Fans in the East and in the US and other places are showing him massive support, he doesn’t mind a scrap and his boxing is improving all the time, into more a boxer-fighter type than just the brawler-fighter type he was in the beginning of his pro tenure, like his father was as well.
He is turning into a better boxer than his father and can obviously fight as well, which is a good mix.
Big things ahead for Benn.
