New York has always been a great city and State for boxing and always will be but its not everything and America is a big country, much bigger than people realize.
In recent years many big professional boxing events have gone into lesser known States and regions and places in America that not many know about and sold out emphatically, done well at the gate it and online, and put some States and lesser known regions on the map in America.
Even Deontay Wilder’s summer small hall show in this regard in his comeback went off well but boxing events are happening across the country now.
Why America Doesn’t Always Have To Look To New York For Big Boxing Events
New York at the moment is degenerating and is being cleaned up due to the sheer trash that the likes of it, Las Vegas and California became over the last decade.
So while this cut down of trash is ongoing over the next while in America, still have boxing events in these places, but don’t be at the beck and call of them, boxing promoters and event organizers.
Use those places but use other places well.
Use what you can in America to your advantage and for boxing, as a sport’s advantage, at the end of the day.
If it is not advantageous send them packing.
Simple.
Las Vegas is always there of course for boxing — and many other places.
