David ‘The Monster’ Benavidez returns to action this weekend in Saudi Arabia and he fights on a solid card this weekend with his new title on the line.
Alright, he didn’t win the world title he has in the boxing ring, that is a fact.
But he’s still got to defend it and he’s fight up at 175 pounds now and is in a shark tank because of this.
The added weight coming up from super-middleweight will level the playing field moving forward for him a bit.
He is undefeated and relentless and hits hard but he does get caught by punches he shouldn’t do a lot.
The Trap David Benavidez Doesn’t Want To Fall Into With Anthony Yarde
This isn’t something against the UK’s Anthony Yarde that he really wants to be doing too much of this weekend.
Yarde is a big hitter and will surely like his chances if Benavidez comes at him overly aggressively with his chin there to be hit cleanly.
This will suit Yarde down to the ground who will look to land a big bomb counter.
Yarde is the underdog of course and Benavidez is the champion Benavidez doesn’t want to get too carried away with his punching power being his go to reliance tool in the squared circle all the time.
