England’s Fabio Wardley has become the WBO heavyweight champion of the world without actually even throwing a punch in the ring, incredibly.
When you are explaining, you’re losing.
That is what the WBO (World Boxing Organization) are clearly doing at the moment.
The sense of desperation from them at the moment is dreadful. No good.
Boxing has done some crazy things like this before but this is up there for sure.
Former champion Oleksandr Usyk just decided to give up the belt as he obviously didn’t care for, nor respect, the WBO (the World Boxing Organization) that much — apparently.
The WBO have instead all of a sudden now made Wardley the champion without ordering a fight for the belt Usyk vacated.
