David Benavidez On Sparring For Anthony Yarde

David ‘The Monster’ Benavidez returns to action later this month on November 22nd in a big fight in Saudi Arabia and spoke about sparring partners.

He takes on Anthony Yarde of the UK next up.

A fellow power puncher.

Benavidez is hitting the power button in training and comes into the fight in great form.

Still undefeated as well.

David Benavidez On Sparring For Anthony Yarde

Speaking to Carl Froch on ‘Froch on Fighting’ Benavidez said:

“I definitely have people with a similar fighting style, but we’ve been working on a lot of counters, a lot of jabs. I’m just going to go in there and be myself, a high-volume puncher, very accurate, and dig to the body. Hopefully he gives me a good fight.”

Yarde has faced quality fighters over the years but maybe none as relentless as Benavidez.

Benavidez can be hit at times and that is something he needs to work on in terms of defense.

He doesn’t want to be taking too many big shots from someone who hits as hard as Yarde.

Benavidez currently has an outstanding record of 30-0-24 KO coming into the fight.

It is all happening at the moment in the fight game and boxing and Benavidez must be impressive if he wants a big fight after this.
