The new pound for pound King of all boxing, of the entire sport, Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford although a quiet man was in good form after his win.
He showed once again a few things to be true in professional sport and in life.
The loudest one in the room is often the weakest, Crawford is maybe one of the more quiet people in boxing history but when he got in there to fight he showed who he was.
The best fighter of this generation other than Floyd Mayweather, in boxing.
Crawford Reveals Minor Injury After Defeating Canelo
He also showed it is not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the dog in the fighter, moving up to super-middleweight to reign supreme with a UD win on Saturday night against Canelo Alvarez.
Speaking after the bout to reporters Crawford said he had a minor injury:
“Oh yeah, he headbutted me. So, I’ve got to get stitches after this.”
Canelo did land some big bombs at times on Crawford, clearly, but he shook these off quickly and still won.
Crawford now has a choice to stay at super-middleweight or maybe box around the middleweight limit.
He must go further if he fights on. Take things further.
He could retire on top and undefeated as well in the sport.
Simply an unbreakable man and an unbreakable spirit, one of the very best boxers that ever lived.
Undefeated and undisputed.
Well done Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez on a great fight for fans.
