Dmitry Bivol Reacts To Crawford Defeating Canelo

Terence Crawford did the impossible this weekend and successfully stepped all the way up to super-middleweight to defeat Canelo Alvarez.

Superhuman ‘Bud’ won the contest this week on points in TKO Boxing’s first big event in boxing (lead by Turki Alalshikh, Dana White and Nick Khan).

What an intro for TKO into boxing, what a fight and what an event.

Undisputed light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol said on social media a short time ago:

“It was a great fight between two legendary fighters. Technique, skill, IQ, and power! Congratulations to Terence Crawford on a well-earned victory! You deserve this”

There has been much similar sentiment for Crawford in boxing.

Surely he will hang around 168 or 160 pounds moving forward.

History has shown that once fighters move up that much in weight going back down too much in weight is never a good thing.

Middleweight and super-middleweight will surely where he will stay.

He could retire undefeated and go out on top as well, something very few do in boxing.
