The fight with Oleksandr Usyk is on hold for now for Joseph Parker in the heavyweight division but he has a good fight next.
Fabio Wardley of the UK is no joke and like Parker, is vastly, vastly improved as a fighter.
Parker and his team know if he takes his eye off the ball he could lose to Wardley.
Joseph Parker Reacts To Not Fighting Usyk and Wardley For Now
Speaking to BoxNation earlier Joseph Parker said of moving on from Usyk for now:
“It would have been awesome for a unification undisputed bout, but he’s injured and spending time with his family.”
Usyk holds all the belts in the division at the moment but of course will be back next year.
Joseph Parker moves on for now.
There is still so much happening this year in the division though.
Moses Itauma is back in December as well.
Anthony Joshua should be back soon as well.
