He put in recently for a medical extension to fight talks negotiations with the sanctioning bodies as regards coming to a deal for his next fight with Joseph Parker.
Talks are ongoing but Usyk has posted himself in a video dancing with his wife in the meantime.
This has sparked Higgins to question how legitimate his back injury is at the moment if he is so full of energy.
Maybe that is a rational viewpoint.
Usyk and his team will have to surely speak with Usyk’s team on this and get to a deal soon at the least.
It’s a good fight if it can be made, Parker is vastly improved under Andy Lee as coach.
