Canelo Alvarez has brought in some more heavy hitters ahead of one of the biggest events and commercial events in boxing history shortly.

When Alvarez defends his super-middleweight titles on September 13th against Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford the world will stop.

Alvarez has brought in world champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis for sparring but now there has been more.

Much more.

He’s drafted in double amateur world champion Yoenli Hernandez now for the time ahead to spar until September 13th in Las Vegas.

That’s basically the best boxers he could literally find in all of professional boxing and amateur boxing.

No one can ever say he didn’t give it his all when getting ready for ‘Bud’ Crawford.

Crawford has brought in Shakur Stevenson as well of course.

At the end of the day sparring is just sparring and on the night both will look to rise to the occasion.

Crawford remains a considerable underdog with most sportsbooks at the moment.

Not long to go now until Canelo vs Crawford, roll on.
