Recently Manny Pacquiao the eight-weight division world champion staged a comeback against Mario Barrios at 147 pounds.
Barrios being the current WBC welterweight champion of the world and sixteen years younger than Pacquiao.
The fight ended in a controversial draw.
Boxing legend Roy Jones doesn’t agree with that decision.
Roy Jones Defends Manny Pacquiao
Speaking to Ring Magazine Roy Jones said that Pacquaio:
“Should be the world champion right now.”
Pacquiao was linked to a fight next up with Gervonta Davis but instead by all accounts the leading contender for his next bout is now Rolly Romero.
That offers all-time great Manny Pacquiao another shot, an immediate one as well, at the world title as well.
