World champion Rolly Romero recently won the world title by defeating Ryan Garcia in New York, a man whom fought Gervonta Davis previously.
Gervonta Davis is still the only man to knock out Ryan Garcia after all this time.
It was not meant to be for Ryan Garcia last time out against Rolly Romero, whom he dropped a UD points loss to.
Now Gervonta Davis is taking on Jake Paul in a mega event and type of hybrid professional boxing match on November 14th on streaming giant Netflix.
Rolly Romero Slams The Heat Gervonta Davis vs Jake Paul Is Getting
The fight has gotten huge worldwide headlines from all over the planet so far.
It has received some criticism but Rolly Romero has leapt to the defense of both Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis.
Speaking to Fight Hub a short time ago Romero said:
“You can’t be mad at doing what they doing.”
Many have even commented how ‘Tank’ Davis had all charges dropped all of a sudden recently in an alleged incident, to now going to this commercial huge event on Netflix with Paul, is something of a business and marketing genius move by Davis.
After the fight he can still of course have the proper rematch with Lamont Roach that boxing fans wish to see.
His profile and fan base will have massively increased in the mean time.
