And there’s been some well known MMA and UFC fighters whom have to.
But no real, genuine, former world champion professional boxer has said they would go into bareknuckle boxing.
James DeGale Breaks New Ground
Until now and until James ‘Chunky’ DeGale.
It is such a unique note, and timing, crucially, as professional boxing really takes off worldwide commercially and from a sporting context worldwide.
With the quality of matches between the best boxers in the world fighting one another happening all the time.
This has not tempted DeGale back though.
He’s gone another route and into bareknuckle boxing.
On September 25th in Manchester he takes on Australian professional boxer Matt Floyd in his bareknuckle boxing debut for BKFC.
This shows the continued boom in professional boxing that there is so much demand for all forms of boxing now.
Bareknuckle boxing and BKFC have gone to new levels with James DeGale onboard.
A legit two-time super-middleweight champion of the world in professional boxing (capturing the IBF title previously).
