Shakur Stevenson is one of the best boxers in the world right now and Teofimo Lopez, a star in the US, claims they are fighting next up very shortly.
The sport continues to take off all the time and a fight like this would be great.
Lopez had claimed on X that the fight is agreed for next year.
This is not the case just yet it turns out.
Shakur Stevenson Reacts To Teofimo Lopez Fight Claim
Shakur Stevenson himself has cleared things up on this for now saying nothing is official just yet:
“Don’t be on here saving face, I ain’t heard nun bout u accepting the fight yet lil dude”
It appears that the fight talks are going well though, but like he says, the fight is not done yet.
If it was Stevenson would also be saying the same thing.
Shakur Stevenson is also in talks for a huge fight with Lamont Roach as well, which would be another vintage fight at the moment in boxing to make.
Lamont Roach rightly now is getting the credit he deserves after an excellent battle last time out against US boxing star Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.
The result was a draw but it was controversial.
