Floyd Mayweather makes Lamont Roach a fight offer just days after the Gervonta Davis vs Jake Paul fight news, with it all happening in boxing now.
The sport of boxing continues to lift off both from a sporting context and commercial standpoint.
Fights are being made everywhere, which is a good thing for the sport and of course for boxing fans.
Lamont Roach was thought to be rematching Gervonta Davis next up but not to be for now, with Davis fighting Jake Paul in November.
Floyd Mayweather, the boxing legend and promoter of the young Curmel Moton, has stepped in, in light of this.
Speaking on Instagram Mayweather said to Roach:
“Let’s make this fight happen!! @curmelmoton1 is already IN, Roach let’s do it. Even if I have to put up the money. @mayweatherpromotions9h”
It is a big fight in America, and a good one, as well.
Lamont Roach showed he is one of the best boxers in the world in his last fight with Gervonta Davis, fighting him to a draw.
In a fight that most thought he won.
Moton is only 19-years-old and is 8-0-6 KO and one of the best prospects in all of America and worldwide boxing.
