His old fighter he used to promote Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis was meant to rematch Lamont Roach recently. It is on hold due to the Davis vs Jake Paul fight.
Floyd Mayweather Called Out By Former Tank Foe
Lamont Roach even called out Mayweather himself to a fight on X after Mayweather tried to make Roach vs Mayweather-protege- Curmel Moton:
“Come on now Floyd… set it up with me and you! We can run it, let’s see what you got left in that gas tank!”
The fight is by all accounts not one that will happen, Mayweather and Roach of course.
