Obviously Lamont Roach is insuitating there that Gervonta Davis ducked the rematch with him due to taking a fight with Jake Paul instead. Look, Davis must have been offered a big pile of cash by Netflix and others for the Jake Paul fight. You can’t blame him for taking the money. It was the right thing to do.
Besides, the fight with Lamont Roach when it does happen will be even bigger now. Much bigger. Not only that, Lamont Roach in the meantime gets to fight Shakur Stevenson as well by all accounts. As both boxers look to have agreed verbally at least a deal on the bout happening next up.
