Devin Haney is one of the big name boxers in America of these times but it wasn’t long ago that the likes of Thomas ‘The Hitman’ Hearns were.
Many boxing fans will of course fondly remember the classic Hearns vs Hagler bout back in the day.
But Hearns was part of a great era where other fighters of his time were outstanding as well.

Haney reacted on the X platform saying:
“Kronk style gym was fire.. someone gotta bring something back similar to this”
The Kronk brought out many great champions over the years.
That style has been shown to be effective at any point in history as well.
Whether it was Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko or Tyson Fury in more recent times under Sugar Hill.
As for Devin Haney, many still would like to see him fight Ryan Garcia again at some point.
Haney is expected to take on Brian Norman next up.
