Jon Jones recently unretired from the UFC but also has been seen involved in boxing a bit more in recent times it should be said.
This has prompted some to mention that maybe Jon Jones might entertain a professional boxing match in the sport of boxing at some point.
Particularly with the UFC and MMA now overlapping all the time with boxing due to Dana White and the UFC promoting Canelo vs Crawford next month and other fights and fighters as well.
Jon Jones Runs Into A Boxing Legend
Jones is known for beating the living urine out of people literally in the UFC for years now all around the world but he ran into one of boxing’s royalty very recently that not many picked up on:
The one and only Sugar Ray Leonard of course.
One of the greatest welterweights that ever lived and most attacking fighters when in his prime there was.
Like Jones, he thought at many times the best defense was simply an all out attack and all out offense.
Often proved quite correct in such an ethos.
With Canelo vs Crawford being promoted by the UFC and TKO Boxing soon, if Jones thinks about getting into boxing and have a boxing match he must remember it is a very different sport.
And would need to take things deadly serious.
