Recently former world champion Keyshawn Davis last his world title on the scales by missing weight by many pounds on the night in question.
He nearly caused an entire show, card and event to be pulled from his Home state but alas Top Rank and a young man on the chief support called Abdullah Mason came to the rescue and saved the event.
Speaking to leading MMA analyst who is now in boxing more full time (welcome to boxing Helwani by the way) Ariel Helwani, Davis said:
“I’m not up here trying to win anyone over. I’m not here to put anyone down. I’m here to admit that I was wrong. And when I return to boxing, I’ll be a better person because of God.”
Good man Keyshawn Davis, ‘The Businessman’ will be back better than ever. He must have no regrets and forge ahead and keeping cutting down what is in front of him.
He is a quality fighter and surely moving up in weight may be a sensible choice next up, that’s up to him.
