Boxing cut men in the sport do a thankless job and are some of the great everyday heroes not only in professional sport but in life.
Cut men keep professional fighters often times in a fight by doing emergency trauma surgery mid fight when a bad cut opens.
They have seconds to respond when a bad cut happens or a professional fighter may be pulled out of a fight.
One of the respected cut men in the UK has passed away, Frank Hopkins.
It is understood after feeling well recently Frank Hopkins passed away earlier aged 78.
