De La Hoya Blasts Attempts To Amend Muhammad Ali Act

The Muhammad Ali Act has existed in boxing for some time and it is understood some amendments have been sought to it recently.

To bring it more up to date basically in the 2025 world and so on, by new organization TKO boxing lead by Turki Alalshikh, Dana White, Nick Khan and others.

Speaking on his Clapback Thursday segment De La Hoya went on the attack:

“The Ali Act exists for a good reason. I’ve been a promoter for 24 years and have never wanted a single change to the Ali Act because I’m about fairness and helping fighters. The fact that this is TKO’s first move in boxing tells you everything you need to know. TKO will lie and say it’s better for everyone.”

Heavy words there from Oscar De La Hoya.
