Mario Barrios broke his silence after a controversial result with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao that saw him retain his title for now.

Barrios defended his WBC welterweight championship at the weekend but only because the bout was scored a draw.

Speaking on Instagram Barrios said:

“All respect to team Pacquiao still had a lot of fight left and the experience sharing the ring with a legend is only gonna take me further. Big thank you to my team for a great camp and everyone that tuned in and pulled up. Not the decision I wanted or trained for but we steady pushing forward. Be back soon.”

Class act like Manny Pacquiao’s words of reaction after the fight as well.

Barrios will surely look to fight Pacquiao again and make the result right, which, is a plausible solution as the fight is much bigger now.
