Claressa Shields And Katie Taylor In Joint News For Boxing

Claressa Shields and Katie Taylor the women’s boxing world champions have both managed to do something big for the sport here.

Shields is thought of by many as the greatest women’s boxer ever with Taylor for others being in second in that list.

Now they’ve both being nominated for one of America’s biggest awards in sports, the ESPYs.

Speaking on the X platform ESPN said:

“Claressa Shields and Katie Taylor are the women who have been nominated at the 2025 ESPYS for Best Boxer”

Well done to both women on a great feat for them and for the sport.

Shields is even being talked about for a super fight with Muhammad Ali’s daughter at the moment.
