CUBA’s David Morrell showed the heart of a champion this weekend in boxing as his successful comeback continues to gather steam.
Morrell continues the great tradition of boxing and boxers from the great country of Cuba of course.
But few make the move to the pros successfully, he has though.
He got knocked down this weekend and badly hurt to then comeback and defeat Imam Khataev over ten rounds.
David Morrell Survives Knockdown To Comeback And Win
Morrell won by split decision very narrowly this weekend against Imam Khataev of Russia.
It marked a successful comeback win for Morrell after suffering only his first pro defeat as a boxer earlier this year to only the outstanding David Benavidez.
