Gervonta Davis was arrested earlier this week but was out on bail of bond literally not long after checking into jail.
It is understood there was an alleged charge of battery or assault but looks garbage as the rematch goes ahead and he was already released, case dismissed.
Bernard Hopkins Reacts To Gervonta Davis Getting Arrested
Speaking to Fight Hub earlier Hopkins said of Davis’ arrest on alleged offences:
“I just wish both his ex-girlfriend, the mother of his kids, you know what I mean, can get things together and move forward positively.”
Davis has already being released from jail and was bailed on bonds. There is no evidence against him other than allegations.
The big rematch with Lamont Roach goes ahead next month. Previous response applies.
