David Haye knows about hurting Goliaths in his fight career and life and what Jake Paul is attempting in boxing is David and Goliath as well.
Jake Paul seems to be serious about pursuing a real shot at a world title in professional boxing, many believe he will be chinned before that.
Recently he was put into the top 15 by the WBA and former WBA heavyweight champion of the world David Haye of London, England said per Boxing Kingdom on the X:
“It’s very good for boxing. Jake is bringing in lots of new fans to the sport. Being ranked in the top 15 is a good thing as Jake now has to fight other fighters that are also ranked and we will see how good he is. If he genuinely believes he wants to be a world champion, he’s on the right path.”
That is a serious almost word of endorsement there from a former heavyweight champion no less.
He is right about bringing in lots of new fans to boxing and those net gains and increases are strong for the sport.
That cannot be denied.
