Both Bivol And Beterbiev Want Trilogy To Be In Russia - Organizers React

It has now been mentioned that the super fight and trilogy match up between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev is taking shape.

Exact date this year and venue and so on will be official soon.

But in some game changing news for the entire sport of boxing, and for professional sport worldwide, and for the country of Russia, Russia is now back in the very big time of all of sport now with this.

Undisputed light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol and fellow Russian Artur Beterbiev have now both requested the super fight this year to be in Russia.

This will be the biggest professional boxing event maybe ever staged in the history of Russia as a country.

Saudi adviser Turki Alalshikh per Mike Coppinger on the X platform has said:

“No trouble, they just wanted to hold the fight in their home country, so Turki gave his blessing”

There you go.

Once he gives the word and go ahead, usually it happens.

What a fight ahead.

The first fight ended in draw, the second in a close points win for Bivol earlier this year.

Some are writing off Beterbiev’s chances in the fight but maybe not the smartest thing to do.

Beterbiev is more focused now it appears than ever.

As for the fight in Russia, this will obviously lift Russia as a nation hugely with these two fighters both being Russian.

And for many, being some of the best fighters at 175 pounds of these times.

Bivol is also a pound for pound rated top 10 fighter for most.

Outside of Sergey Kovalev, Kostya Tszyu and Alexander Povetkin fights, this would be by far the biggest event ever held in pro boxing in Russian history.

Surely Vladimir Putin will be content with this event coming to Russia as the fight is sought after by many countries around the world.

As for the fight, it will be close again.

Their styles just match up well and are very even.
