Jake Paul Responds To Piers Morgan After Defeating Chavez Jr

Piers Morgan was not impressed with the main event in boxing this weekend between Jake Paul vs Julio Caesar Chavez Jr.

Paul surprised people by beating former world champion Chavez Jr but people were very surprised from the lack of punches thrown from Chavez Jr.

After the fight Piers Morgan said in the X platform:

BREAKING: I had a better fight with Jake Paul on Thursday than the unwatchable farce that took place tonight. The guy’s lining his pockets with buckets of $$$$ – but he’s killing boxing with this boring staged bullsh*t against older fighters way past their prime. pic.twitter.com/hdNMxds4EX

The overall card was excellent and the undercard had tremendous action and knockouts from the likes of Floyd Schofield.

Morgan is wrong on the above, Jake Paul’s MVP Promotions put on cards that grew the sport to a wider audience.

With more UFC and MMA fighters switching to boxing now more than ever.

MVP also were the first to bring Netflix to boxing – boxing is flying.

Paul must pick a dangerous opponent next up in his own fight career, for balance to Morgan’s points.
