Chavez Jr Reveals With Chavez Sr Said To Him

Julio Caesar Chavez Jr is the son of a boxing legend in the form of Chavez senior, many consider the best Mexican fighter ever.

Chavez Jr didn’t get the win this weekend and came up short, losing by UD on points to Jake Paul.

Not a great main event but Chavez hadn’t boxed in five years as well.

Speaking the day after the fight earlier today to Fight Hub Chavez Jr revealed that senior said to him:

“You know, what happened is funny because he came to me and said, “Feel proud of yourself about your fight. Everybody’s happy. You need to throw more punches, but look, you look much better than before. It’s been five years, and it’s because you’re clean, you train better. Continue doing your life like that, feel proud of yourself, and train hard.”

Chavez Jr has said he will fight on.

He may need to take a tune up fight at a lighter weight like 175 pounds if that’s the case.
