Speaking to 78SPORTSTV Wilder said of sparring and preparation:

“Sparring was good. We had a lot of great young and experienced sparring partners. They came, gave me their love, and put in the work they needed to do. We all had an amazing time. My sparring partners always have a great time at my camp because I don’t treat them like they’re just meat. I treat them like human beings—we go out to eat, maybe bowling on off days, not just waiting for a phone call to hit the gym. I respect my guys in camp, treat everyone like family with southern hospitality. When you connect and everyone knows the energy they bring, it makes for great sparring. I expect them to give their all, and I’ve put in 484 rounds for this camp. I feel amazing, bro.”

Wilder also brushed aside talks and callouts from one Dave Allen from the UK recently.

Wilder seems very focused and in a good place but this is heavyweight boxing.

Wilder still carries more knockout power than most in the division, he takes on Tyrrell Herndon in Kansas this Friday night.

Friday night fights always enjoyable.

A happy fighter is a more deadly and vicious one, Wilder appears to be very at peace ahead of his war in the boxing ring on Friday night.
