Chavez Jr On Why The People Are On His Side Against Jake Paul
Speaking to Ariel Helwani Julio Cesar Chavez Jr said he’s got the people with him:
“I think that the people everywhere know it’s with me, you know. Nobody likes Jake Paul because, you know, Jake, he tried, and he’s one of these guys, and if he sees you in your eyes like fear or that things, you know, he’s good, and that, you know, to get a fight with an old man like Mike Tyson, you know, trying to put him down with 59 years (for his age), you know, because he throw some bombs. I never want to do these things, you know, it’s disrespect like to legends (like Tyson), you know. And that’s why I want to beat him, that’s why, uh, the people are on my side.”
He is right in that people want to see revenge for Mike Tyson last year after his fight with Jake Paul.
A fight that let people down but the fact Tyson got through the fight with an opponent thirty years younger than him.
After nearly dying that year.
Shows what Tyson is all about.
It also introduced boxing to Netflix who have now came back to boxing but in a much bigger way right now.
