Usyk Makes Shock Move Less Than A Month Before Dubois 2 And Undisputed Heavyweight Title Fight

Oleksandr Usyk of the Ukraine is one of the most unique professional sportsmen stories of the 21st century, part of that story came to an end today.

Outside of the likes of Vitali Klitschko, and Vasyl Lomachenko, surely for most people we think would say that Oleksandr Usyk is without doubt, the greatest fighter from the Ukraine.

A short time ago Usyk confirmed the end amicably of his working relationship with long time associate and promoter Alex Krassyuk.

Usyk Makes Shock Move

Speaking on Instagram a short time ago heavyweight champion Usyk said:

“It’s been a tremendous journey — 12 years of unbelievable success.
Two young dreamers met each other to change the game.
Back in 2013, I gave you my word — and I kept it.
At the time, no one believed we were capable of achieving what we set out to do.
But by the grace of God, we completed the mission impossible.

Milestones we conquered together:

• September 2016 – WBO Cruiserweight Champion
• January 2018 – WBO and WBC Cruiserweight Champion
• July 2018 – Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion
• September 2021 – WBO, WBA, and IBF Heavyweight Champion
• May 2024 – Undisputed Heavyweight Champion

What a run.

Good luck to Alex Krassyuk in whatever is next, of which of course will be successful.

Certainly in these times in life unfortunately many people have ran into some very bad men and bad women from Ukraine in different countries. True evil garbage.

But it is important not to paint them all with the same brush – the evil is just a tiny 0.3/0.4 per cent of unimportant trash.

Many believers of God too in Ukraine of which Usyk and Alex Krassyuk and their team are.

Usyk will move forward now as he always does and he is in a very dangerous fight against young lion Dubois of the UK on July 19th.

Dubois will be looking to take Usyk’s head clean off his shoulders at Wembley stadium in London, UK shortly.
