Devin Haney didn’t have his best fight last time out but that’s okay not every fight is a home run, his father and manager Bill Haney is still with him.
The two have become a big pair in the sport of professional boxing in recent years as Haney continues to improve, and is obviously a big name in America in boxing.
Recently Keyshawn Davis lost his WBO lightweight title on the scales after missing weight but a huge 4.3 pounds, Bill Haney offered words of support for Davis moving forward.

To which Devin Haney said on the X app:
“Anything my pops say.. he speaking for me when I’m not there.”
Good for them. The two work well as a familial team in the sport.
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, we know promoters and trainers have had issues in the past where a parent actually is not a good thing for a fighter to have in his team and they have to be removed.
The trainer is the most important thing for a fighter obviously as without a trainer, the fighter cannot improve.
The boxing coach still remains the biggest unsung hero in the sport, even after all these years.
As for Haney’s next fight, it should be confirmed soon.
