Terence Crawford is one of the best fighters since Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in years gone by, that is more than fair to say.
But so is Canelo Alvarez though. Alvarez has come a long way since his loss as a younger fighter to Floyd Mayweather on points.
Terence Crawford Shut Down Piers Morgan When Asked Something About Canelo
Crawford and Canelo fight on September 13th and sat down with the UK’s Piers Morgan recently.
Piers Morgan asked Crawford straight can you accept that’s he’s better than you at anything.
To which Crawford in classic ‘Bud’ form smiled and simply shook his head in reply:
“No. Because he hasn’t proven it yet.”
Classic Crawford. Steely focus but relaxed at the same time.
Nobody is going to get into Crawford’s head, including Alvarez, or Pierce Morgan.
Same goes for Alvarez though.
Don’t expect much trash talk between these two, it is not in their personalities and it is not who they are.
Alvarez will surely want to put on a better fight than he did against William Scull recently.
That will only motivate Crawford even more.
There’s not a bad undercard developing for Canelo vs Crawford too at the moment.
