Hall of Fame boxing promoter Frank Warren knows boxing as well as anyone and is one of the greatest fight promoters that ever lived.
Warren has a great ability in particular at bringing through young fighters and developing them into world champions.
Case in point his latest in IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
Dubois takes on Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch and for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world next month.
Frank Warren Says Something On Daniel Dubois That Usyk Must Be Aware Of
Ahead of the fight Warren has warned fans on Sky Sports and Usyk that if Dubois catches him, he will knock Usyk out.
Usyk’s chin and resilience to fight on and win when he has been hurt has been proven and showed time and time again.
But even with all Usyk’s accomplishments and beating Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury at heavyweight, it is still heavyweight boxing.
And Dubois knocked out Joshua maybe in one of the heaviest knockouts of the last five years or so at heavyweight.
Dubois as well is training with more determination that many have seen him do in some time.
Usyk is putting himself through hell at the moment though.
The result on July 19th at Wembley Stadium is going to be something kind of special for boxing fans surely.
