Speaking to Rick Reeno of Ring Magazine, Claressa Shields said of the big fight on September 13th:
“The weight class may be a little challenging, but I don’t think it’ll be the decision-maker of the fight. I think that Terence Crawford is the better fighter, but I think that Canelo is like a legend, so I look forward to him to fight, and I’m going to pick Canelo—I’m going to pick Terence Crawford. Sorry, okay, okay, I’m going to pick Terence Crawford to win. I’m thinking about all this stuff—no, Terence Crawford to win. It’s going to be tough though, it’s going to be tough, but I think that I know that Terence, he adapts.”
