Recently Mexican knockout artist Jaime Munguia had adverse findings come back in his A sample following his rematch win over Bruno Surace.
It was out of the blew and caused a wave of surprise to many in boxing.
However the B sample has not come back yet and people were wrong to through Mungia under the bus so quick.
Boxing legend Erik Morales of Mexico believes so.
Erik Morales Reacts To Jaime Munguia Adverse Doping Test
Speaking at the 2025 Boxing Hall of Fame to Ring Magazine Morales said of Munguia’s adverse A sample findings:
“I think Jaime is a clean fighter, a very healthy fighter. Let’s just wait for the (B Sample) and see what happens, if we are all wrong. Sometimes us boxers take things that our nutritionists give us and we don’t know exactly what it is and that’s when things happen.”
Munguia never had something like this happened before so let’s see how the whole thing plays out.
Munguia suffered a knockout defeat last year to Frenchman Bruno Surace but avenged it recently this year on points.
